Apollonie Cabin | Lookout Mountain | Hot Tub

Welcome to Apollonie Cabin at Wauhatchie Woodlands, a tiny cabin 5 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. During your stay, you can enjoy a private hot tub, a furnished back deck, a covered front deck with a charcoal grill, a shared fire pit, and an incredibly memorable and charming natural space. Apollonie can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests, with a main bedroom and a sleeping loft. 
We have equipped this tiny cabin with everything you need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and dining utensils and features an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and everything you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen have an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, and the main TV is across from the sofa.
The primary bedroom includes a queen-sized bed, closets to hang your clothes, and a Smart TV. The dedicated washer and dryer combo unit is outside the bedroom, and on the other side is a full bathroom stocked with our custom-scented toiletries and plush towels. The sleeping loft is situated upstairs, and it has two twin beds, which is a perfect area for kids to enjoy their own space. However, the clearance in the loft is low, with just 4 feet of space, making it a perfect sleeping area. Be cautious while getting up, as you might hit your head.
The cabin's covered front porch with a dining set is perfect for a morning coffee or grilling out on your dedicated charcoal grill. The fully furnished back deck is surrounded by decades-old trees—a perfect space for relaxation. The private hot tub is just off the main bedroom, while the shared fire pit and dining pavilion are just a few steps away.
At Wauhatchie Woodlands, we're committed to ensuring your stay is perfect. That's why our local guest services representatives are available from 8 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. Fun Fact: The owners, Frank and Nicole, named this cabin after their French foreign exchange student, Apollonie (Apple for short) 

rental agreement
Please note you will need to sign our rental agreement to complete your booking. A link will be provided immediately following your booking request.

cancellations
Your reservation may be canceled with a full refund up to 7 days prior to arrival. No-shows and cancellations within 7 days of your check-in date will be billed the entire reservation total.

pet policy
Pets are not allowed in this unit.  Please filter your search to identify one of our many pet friendly alternatives.  If there is evidence of non-compliance with this policy, a $150 penalty fee will apply.

no smoking
Smoking, vaping, and the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted inside of any Timberroot property or in community spaces.  Evidence of smoking/vaping or smoke/vapor damage or odor inside the property or cigarette damage/debris on the exterior of the property during your stay will result in a minimum $150 fine.

Smoking is permitted outside or on uncovered decks. Please ensure that windows and doors are closed so that the smoke/vapor does not enter the building.  Cigarette butts should be fully extinguished and disposed of properly in exterior trash receptacles. 

no parties or events
This rental may only be used for overnight lodging accommodations and may not be used for parties, conferences or events, unless specifically permitted by Timberroot management. Only Guests associated with the reservation are allowed on premises at any time. Failure to abide by this policy may result in additional fines and/or eviction from the property.

media/event use restriction
Timberroot accommodations may not be used or reproduced for, or as part of, any online listing, photographic production, television production, movie/film production, wedding event, party, or in any other way in which our property becomes a setting for amateur or professional use of producing, staging, or otherwise, without Timberroot’s express written consent.


fireplaces, fire pits, and grills
Fire pits, fireplaces, grills and other combustibles at their own risk. All grills, fire pits, and fires should be kept contained. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all fires are completely extinguished after use.  Use of fire pits may be impacted by local burn bans.


pool, spa, & hot tub
Pools, spas, and hot tubs are used at your own risk. Children and any adults requiring supervision must be supervised by a responsible and able-bodied adult at all times. Guests should ensure that the spa is covered when not in use. Complete Hot tub, Pool, and Spa rules are posted at each facility. Guests are responsible for abiding by all posted rules and regulations.

 

trains & noise
Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance.

guest access
You'll have your entire cabin to yourself, as well as a private deck & hot tub.
Your cabin is located within Wauhatchie Woodlands, a 14-acre property surrounded by National Forest. In addition to your cabin, you'll have access to trails throughout the grounds, as well as shared pavilions, community fire pits, and playground. Please be respectful of other guests during your stay.

pests
We take great care to ensure our properties are free from pests. Our properties are regularly treated by professional pest control and our staff takes preventative measures to keep pests out.
However, as our properties are located in wooded areas, it is possible for guests to encounter insects and/or small woodland creatures like mice. If you do encounter an unwelcome pest inside your lodging, please contact our Guest Services team immediately so that our grounds team can address the problem as quickly as possible. We ask that guests help us prevent pests by keeping doors and window screens closed and maintaining proper cleanliness during their stay.
By booking with us, you accept that encountering insects and woodland creatures is a possibility and that no refunds will be issued for such instances.
