Bringing your dog to a Timberroot property comes with a few straightforward rules in place to keep the stay comfortable for your pet, the next guests, and the property itself. Here’s what to know before you book.

The Basics

What pets are allowed?

Dogs only. Cats and exotic pets are never permitted at any Timberroot property.

How many dogs can I bring?

Up to two dogs, 50 lbs or under each. (Please reach out to Guest Services if you have questions about weight exemptions, as we may be able to offer flexibility.)

Do I need to tell you in advance?

Yes. Dogs must be added to your reservation at least 48 hours before check-in. This is how we make sure your unit is actually one of the pet-friendly ones and that we’re set up for your stay.

Is there a pet fee?

Yes, a one-time $35 pet fee per stay.

While You’re Here

Do I need to keep my dog leashed?

Yes, whenever your dog is outside. This applies across all pet-friendly properties, including ones with more open space like Quail Run Farm.

Can my dog stay in the unit overnight or while we’re out?

Yes, but your dog needs to be crated overnight and any time it’s left unattended in the unit. Please reach out to Guest Services if you need a crate left in your unit before arrival. There is a flat $10/crate rental fee.

Can my dog get on the furniture or bedding?

No. Keeping pets off furniture and bedding helps units stay ready for the next guest, pet-friendly or not.

What about cleanup?

All pet waste must be picked up and properly disposed of, both around the unit and anywhere else on the property.

Before You Book

Are all breeds welcome?

Some breed restrictions apply. Breed eligibility is confirmed at the time of booking, so check with us directly if you’re unsure whether your dog qualifies before you finalize your reservation.

What if my dog isn’t a good fit for a shared property?

Aggressive dogs aren’t permitted at any Timberroot property, both for the safety of other guests and any animals on-site.

What happens if there’s damage?

Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pet. If something happens during your stay, report it to us right away rather than waiting until checkout; it’s a much easier conversation early.
