The Branch
The Branch is a unique, experiential stay at Wauhatchie Woodlands. A treehouse-style unit built for two, it trades hallways for tree-covered walkways. The bedroom, sitting room, and private balcony sit upstairs, while the kitchen, soaking tubs and outdoor shower, bathroom, and cedar sauna round out the downstairs. Guests also have access to the property's fire pit and pavilion, petting zoo, pickleball courts, and the Sprout general store. This romantic stay is just minutes from downtown, with quick access to Ruby Falls and Lookout Mountain.
Space
Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land, nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area. The Branch is an experiential treehouse-style stay spread across the canopy, with rooms connected by outdoor walkways and a set of stairs.
A short walk in from parking brings you to the main living space. Upstairs, you'll find the bedroom, with a queen bed, and a sitting/dining room with a TV across the patio. Both open onto a private balcony furnished with outdoor seating and string lights strung through the branches. It’s a beautiful spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine after dark. Little secret: the sitting room houses a dumbwaiter for easy food transport up from the kitchen.
Downstairs, reached by walking back outside, is the full kitchen, stocked for cooking with a stove, fridge, and everything else you need to put together a meal. Past the kitchen, you'll pass the outdoor soaking tub and shower, open to the trees. Finally, you’ll reach the half bath and cedar sauna, a rare find this deep in the woods.
As part of Wauhatchie Woodlands, guests staying at The Branch also have access to the shared fire pit and pavilion, the petting zoo, pickleball courts, and the Sprout general store. Firewood for the fire pit can be purchased on-property.
