Foster Falls is a spectacular 60-foot waterfall that plunges into a deep pool below. The view above the falls is just as spectacular, with hemlocks, azaleas, mountain laurels, and wildflowers growing along the sandstone overlook. The hike to the top of the falls is easy. The trail leads down into the gorge and over a suspension bridge with a creek below. It is a 1.7-mile loop and is considered moderately challenging.
