Blue Ridge Bungalow - Amazing Views of the Smokies

Blue Ridge Bungalow is just 40 minutes from Downtown Asheville, North Carolina, and is surrounded by stunning hiking and bike trails, numerous breathtaking waterfalls, and several pristine lakes for swimming. You can enjoy authentic Smoky Mountain comfort at Logan Overlook, which offers a private hot tub, five bedrooms, three baths, and a newly renovated kitchen. Additionally, this pet-friendly holiday home allows up to two dogs weighing less than 50 lbs to join you on your adventure.

Space

Timberroot is a small, family owned business that specializes in creating rustic spaces that allow you to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. Our three separate Land of Falls properties are nestled deep in the Smoky Mountain foothills and provide a serene setting with spectacular views.

Blue Ridge Bungalow is about a half mile up a private, gated drive, surrounded on all sides by dense forest offering you near complete privacy as you enjoy the spectacular view from the home's spacious deck. This outdoor living space is fully equipped with ample seating and a large grill for cooking out.

The home is divided into three levels. On the ground level you’ll find the great room, the prefect space for shared meals and socializing. The newly renovated kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare a vacation feast. The space also includes a dining area with beautiful views out the private windows, and a fireplace surrounded by leather sofas. In the back of the house you’ll find one of the bedrooms and a full bath.

Downstairs things get fun in the fully-loaded media room equipped with a movie theater style seating, a large TV, air hockey table, and bar area. You’ll also find a full bathroom, queen bedroom, and an exit to the ground level.

All the way up is the open loft suite, with a king size bed, its own sitting area and workspace, all flanked by floor to ceiling windows looking out to the Smokies. Across the loft is a walk-in closet and full bath as well as twin bed rooms, one of which is set up as a second media room with pull-out sofa.

The entire home was refreshed in 2022, with a renovated kitchen, and new, ductless heating and cooling on each level for extra comfort.

The house is less than a mile from Lake Logan, 10 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and is attached to an extensive trail network that winds along the ridge overlooking the lake and provides stunning views before dropping you down to the shore.
