From the flowy singletrack of Switch Yard to the heart-pounding rocky descents of Tesla’s Revenge, Raccoon Mountain promises adventure and excitement. Here are some of our favorites:

Live Wire: This advanced trail is perfect for riders looking for technical rock sections and adrenaline-pumping descents. It’s not for the faint of heart and requires excellent bike control.

High Voltage: True to its name, High Voltage offers a high-intensity downhill ride with technical features and steep drops.

Laurel Point Loop: This trail is suitable for intermediate riders and offers a more moderate experience. It gently winds through dense forest and offers beautiful views of the Tennessee River.

Easy Loop: Ideal for beginners, this trail is great for building confidence and practicing basic mountain biking skills.

enterprise south nature park: family-friendly Mountain Biking

 

For those seeking a less technical and more beginner-friendly mountain biking experience, check out Enterprise South Nature Park. This park offers over 20 miles of well-marked and maintained trails catering to beginners, intermediates, and families with young children. And with its dense forestation, you’ll have plenty of protection from the heat even on the hottest summer days.

The Black ForestTNT Mountain Bike Trail, and Log Rhythm routes are linked and offer progressively more challenging terrain. They’re perfect for building confidence for those new to mountain biking.

Once you have gained a bit of confidence, the Atlas Trail is the route to conquer. This 5.6-mile blue/black section offers circumventable jumps, optional rock features, and a few technical short climbs. A competent intermediate would be challenged but capable of riding this trail.
