Experiences by Timberroot

Because this isn’t just a stay.

Some of the best parts of your stay have nothing to do with where you lay your head. It’s just a perk that Timberroot happens to have the best of both worlds.

Grab a cup from Sprout, unwind at The Branch, take the boat out on the water, or settle in for a film the way nature intended — under an open sky. These are the experiences that turn a getaway into something you’ll actually talk about when you get home.

The Branch is tucked away in the woods at Wauhatchie Woodlands, reached by a softly lit path beneath the trees. Part sauna, part hideaway, part dinner setting, it brings together a cedar sauna, private massage room, open-air decks, and a treehouse dining room for nights that feel intimate, unhurried, and a little magical.

Enjoy the sauna as our guest
Call our guest services office at (423) 251-5287 to reserve the Branch facilities, including two-hour exclusive access to the sauna, soaking tubs, and meditation rooms for two hours at a time.

Sprout General Store

Located at the entrance of Wauhatchie Woodlands is Sprout General Store, a place you can stop in for a cup of coffee, a late night snack, supplies for your stay, or grab some merchandise before you head out.

There are games, outdoor gear, small bites, and a friendly face to help point you in the right direction for your adventures.

Woodland Theatre

There’s something about watching a film outside that a living room just can’t replicate. The Woodland Theatre brings movie nights to the heart of Wauhatchie Woodlands — an open-air screening experience set against the trees, where the only dress code is comfortable and the only rule is to show up. Grab a blanket, find your spot, and let the woods set the scene.

Our next screening is Monday, June 16th — and we’re making a night of it. Local vendor pizza will be available for purchase before the show, so come hungry, settle in, and enjoy a proper summer evening on the property. Movie to be announced. Free to attend for all guests and visitors — just bring yourself and an appetite.
