Welcome to Sunburst Falls Hideaway, a newly renovated Timberroot Rustic Retreat located in a gated mountainside community just above Little East Fork River, Pigeon River and Lake Logan. This jewel is only minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest. Great views, spacious deck, charming sunroom, and a separate downstairs apartment with a kitchenette, this space is as versatile as it is comfortable. You will especially enjoy the large grill and hot tub after adventures.
Space
Sunburst Falls Hideaway is perfect for your romantic weekend or family holiday. Swathed in a forest, the home has everything you need for your Blue Ridge adventure. This chic cabin is like two rentals in one. The upstairs and the downstairs are separated by an exterior staircase, located on the back deck.
You'll have plenty of space for your group with the full kitchen, bathroom, king bedroom, queen bedroom, and living room upstairs + another king bedroom, game room with foose ball table, and kitchenette downstairs. But the real highlight of this property is its expansive outdoor spaces. Enjoy the view from the expansive 40' deck, sip some coffee while you swing on the covered porch, then head down to the covered patio to soak your cares away in the luxurious private hot tub.
We completely renovated the home in 2023 and added a new HVAC, an expanded dining room, and a 40' x 10' back deck with views of the Blue Ridge foothills.
Want to host a larger group? You're in luck, Timberroot also owns the home next door, Lost Cove Lodge which sleeps 8 guests. The properties share a driveway and parking area, and Lost Cove features a large covered pavilion perfect for family reunions and larger groups. Search for Lost Cove Lodge and rent both properties.
The house is within walking distance of Lake Logan, just 10 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and is attached to an extensive trail network that winds along the ridge overlooking the lake and provides stunning views before dropping you down to the shore. The home's namesake, the majestic Sunburst Falls is a short five-mile drive away.

Things To Note
Cell Phone Reception
Cellular coverage at Sunburst Falls Hideaway and the surrounding area is extremely spotty. We highly recommend saving your check-in instructions offline. Once you arrive, you'll be able to connect to the home's high speed internet.
Pet Policy
We are pleased to allow dogs at Sunburst Falls under specific terms and conditions. See our house rules section for more information.
No Smoking
Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited inside Timberroot properties.

Rental Agreement
Please note you will need to sign our rental agreement to complete your booking. A link will be provided by email immediately following your booking request. Please consult your rental agreement for details regarding the policies below and any related fees or penalties. Failure to abide by your rental agreement may result in additional fines, forfeitures and/or eviction from the property.
We realize that accidents happen, so please contact Guest Services immediately if a situation arises and damage occurs.
Deposits
Please note that guests under 21 or guests residing in the Greater Chattanooga Metropolitan Area will be charged a $200 refundable deposit subsequent to receiving their booking confirmation.
Cancellation Policy

Pet Policy
We are pleased to offer pet-friendly accommodations at certain locations for a nominal fee. Restrictions include:
- 2 pets, less than 50 lbs. each. No aggressive dogs are allowed on the property.
- Your dog must be approved and added to your reservation at least 48 hours before your check-in date.
- Pets must be crated overnight and when left unattended. They are not allowed on furniture or bedding.
- Pets must be leashed at all times when outdoors and all waste must be picked up and disposed of properly.
No Smoking / Vaping in Vacation Rental
Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited indoors or on adjacent decks/patios.
No Parties or Events
Accommodations and grounds may not be used for weddings, parties, conferences, business dinners, or similar events unless specifically permitted by Timberroot management. Only Guests associated with the reservation are allowed on the premises at any time.
Media/Event Use Restriction
Accommodations may not be used or reproduced for, or as part of, any online listing, photographic production, television production, movie/film production, wedding event, party, or in any other way in which our property becomes a setting for amateur or professional use of producing, staging, or otherwise, without Timberroot’s express written consent.
Good Neighbor Policy
Our resorts are designed for all guests to peacefully enjoy their stay. We do not tolerate partying, loud noise, excessive occupancy limits, illegal parking, etc. that violate policy or interfere with our neighbors' peaceful enjoyment of their community. All public areas close at 10p.m. and do not open again until 7a.m.
Pool, Spa, & Hot Tub Policy
Pools, spas, and hot tubs are used at your own risk. Children and anyone requiring supervision must be supervised by a responsible and able-bodied adult at all times.
Fires, Fireplaces, Fire Pits, and Grills
Combustibles are to be used at your own risk. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all fires are contained and completely extinguished after use.
Firearms & Weapons
The safety and security of our guests is our top priority. We strictly prohibit the use of firearms or any other projectile weapons on any of our properties.
Pests
Our properties are regularly treated by professional pest control and our staff takes preventative measures to keep pests out. However, as our properties are located in wooded areas, it is possible for guests to encounter insects and/or small woodland creatures like mice. If you do encounter an unwelcome pest inside your lodging, please contact our Guest Services team immediately so that our grounds team can address the problem as quickly as possible. We ask that guests help us prevent pests by keeping doors and window screens closed and maintaining proper cleanliness during their stay. By booking with us, you accept that encountering insects and woodland creatures is a possibility and that no refunds will be issued for such instances.
Refunds
Timberroot is not liable for any interruptions to a guest’s stay that is caused by, but not limited to, weather, strike, riot, orders of public authorities, acts of other guests, any other acts of God, Force Majeure, pandemic, accident, or any other cause, except as outlined above.
