We are looking for a Carpenter who is skilled in framing and has a working knowledge of other trades, such as basic electrical, plumbing, and painting. The right candidate will be hardworking, dependable, and committed to quality craftsmanship. This is an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment where every project contributes to creating memorable guest experiences.

Carpenter Position Overview

The Carpenter will work under the Construction Lead, assisting in various building and repair projects across Timberroot’s properties in Lookout Mountain and Lookout Valley. The role requires someone who can work independently at times, as the supervisor frequently moves between projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform framing, trim, and finish work with precision.
  • Install flooring and decking.
  • Conduct basic electrical and plumbing tasks.
  • Assemble and repair furniture as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet high-quality standards.
  • Use company-provided vehicles when necessary to transport materials and tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of framing experience.
  • Familiarity with basic electrical, plumbing, and painting.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  • Respectful, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to workplace professionalism.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
