Glenn Falls Room (Unit 14)

Perfect for a romantic weekend or a restful solo retreat, the Glenn Falls Room is a charming escape for two—made even more special by its private hot tub (COMING SOON) just outside on the patio. Named after one of Lookout Mountain’s most beloved nearby waterfalls, this peaceful garden hideaway offers a quiet space to unwind and reconnect.

Inside, you’ll find a plush king-size bed, a full private bathroom, and thoughtful amenities like a mini fridge, microwave, flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi. A ceiling fan and wall-unit climate control keep the space comfortable year-round, while a single-serve coffee maker with complimentary ground coffee makes slow mornings even easier. Guests are welcomed with soft linens, fresh towels, and our signature Enchanted Forest bath products—a custom blend of pine fir, amber, and tobacco designed to relax the senses and enhance your stay.

Outside your door, relax beneath the trees on your private patio or enjoy a soak under the stars. Guests also enjoy access to shared amenities like the seasonal swimming pool, outdoor fire pit, guest-use grill, and a second covered hot tub.
Start your day with a warm, homemade breakfast in the Main House Gathering Room—just be sure to reserve in advance. 

Plan a day of hiking to waterfalls, take a scenic drive, or explore nearby favorites like Rock City and Ruby Falls—whatever your pace, the Glenn Falls Room is a lovely place to stay on Lookout Mountain.

Cancellations
Your reservation may be canceled with a full refund up to 7 days prior to arrival. No-shows and cancellations within 7 days of your check-in date will be billed the entire reservation total. 

Pet Policy
We are pleased to offer pet-friendly accommodations under specific conditions.   A $35 per stay pet fee applies and must be collected in advance of your stay. This fee allows for 1 pet, less than 50 lbs.  As a guest of a Timberroot Rustic Retreat, you agree to adhere to the following policies.
Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Therefore, all pets must be crated overnight and crated when left unattended for any amount of time. Please contact Guest Services to arrange pet crate rental if needed.‍
Your pet(s) must be leashed at all times when outside on the property. All waste must be picked up and disposed of. No aggressive dogs are allowed on the property.
The pet owner is responsible for all damages or injury caused by their pet during their stay.
If there is evidence of non-compliance with the policies stated above, penalty fees will apply. Common examples of non-compliance and corresponding penalty fees are listed below.
$70 Evidence of pet on bedding or furniture (excessive pet hair)
$150 Evidence of pet within a lodging that is not pet friendly or failure to add your pet to your reservation
$70-$500+ Damages to lodging, furnishings, equipment, etc that must undergo cleaning or replacement. (ex. chewed door frames, soiled bed sheets, excessive pet hair on bedding or furnishings).  We realize that accidents happen so please contact Guest Services immediately if a situation arises and damages occur.

No Smoking
Smoking, vaping, and the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted inside of any Timberroot property or in community spaces.  Evidence of smoking/vaping or smoke/vapor damage or odor inside the property or cigarette damage/debris on the exterior of the property during your stay will result in a minimum $150 fine.

Smoking is permitted outside or on uncovered decks. Please ensure that windows and doors are closed so that the smoke/vapor does not enter the building.  Cigarette butts should be fully extinguished and disposed of properly in exterior trash receptacles. 

No Parties or Events
This rental may only be used for overnight lodging accommodations and may not be used for parties, conferences or events, unless specifically permitted by Timberroot management. Only Guests associated with the reservation are allowed on premises at any time. Failure to abide by this policy may result in additional fines and/or eviction from the property.

Media/Event Use Restriction
Timberroot accommodations may not be used or reproduced for, or as part of, any online listing, photographic production, television production, movie/film production, wedding event, party, or in any other way in which our property becomes a setting for amateur or professional use of producing, staging, or otherwise, without Timberroot’s express written consent.


Fireplaces, Fire pits, and Grills
Fire pits, fireplaces, grills and other combustibles at their own risk. All grills, fire pits, and fires should be kept contained. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all fires are completely extinguished after use.  Use of fire pits may be impacted by local burn bans.


Pool, Spa, & Hot Tub
Pools, spas, and hot tubs are used at your own risk. Children and any adults requiring supervision must be supervised by a responsible and able-bodied adult at all times. Guests should ensure that the spa is covered when not in use. Complete Hot tub, Pool, and Spa rules are posted at each facility. Guests are responsible for abiding by all posted rules and regulations.

Guest access
You'll have your entire cottage to yourself.
Your cottage on The Lookout Mountain Inn & Suites property, a 2-acre property in the heart of Lookout Mountain. In addition to your cottage, you'll have access to the common grounds, as well as shared pavilions, community fire pit, hot tub and swimming pool (seasonal). Please be respectful of other guests during your stay.

Pests
We take great care to ensure our properties are free from pests. Our properties are regularly treated by professional pest control and our staff takes preventative measures to keep pests out.
However, as our properties are located in wooded areas, it is possible for guests to encounter insects and/or small woodland creatures like mice. If you do encounter an unwelcome pest inside your lodging, please contact our Guest Services team immediately so that our grounds team can address the problem as quickly as possible. We ask that guests help us prevent pests by keeping doors and window screens closed and maintaining proper cleanliness during their stay.
By booking with us, you accept that encountering insects and woodland creatures is a possibility and that no refunds will be issued for such instances.
